Live and online events

Historically, the events Hansel arranges have been popular among our stakeholders, and 2024 was no exception. We arranged 65 events, and registration was lively: we received more than 6,000 registrations in total!

After a hiatus of a few years, we arranged our Facility Day as a hybrid event. A group of approximately 60 people consisting mostly of our customers interested in facility procurement gathered at Scandic Grand Central Helsinki. The atmosphere was relaxed and informal: the coffee and lunch tables were alive with chatter, colleagues were able to exchange news, and even some completely new contacts were made! Around a hundred people attended the event remotely.

The Facility Day’s programme covered the changing landscape of office spaces and society from different perspectives: what kind of changes does hybrid work cause, and does Gen Z like to work? How can we take costs, versatility and sustainability into account? In his closing speech, Perttu Pölönen challenged the audience to think about their relationship with technology: who is actually in control?

In addition to the Facility Day, four webinars on current procurement topics were arranged for customers, and four information sessions for contractual suppliers. Almost 50 information sessions on joint procurement and mini-competition clinics were held. At the information sessions, we provided more information about the content of joint procurement, while the mini-competition clinics were all about tips on how customers could successfully realise internal tendering in a joint procurement procedure. In addition to the above, we attended five trade fairs.
